This is a close up photo of the sky above the ocean in Half Moon Bay, California. It is nearing sunset in the photo, and some yellows can be seen from below the clouds. About 1/3 of the photo is the ocean, about 1/2 is the sky. and a very small amount of the photo is the sand. The sand has footprints in it, and lightens as it comes close to the water. There a 5 small waves in the water as well.

These Yellow Skies Made me Realize

Yellow skies and french fries

A warm day at the beach

Watching the waves as they float on by

No tears left to cry

And I, well I, am grateful

Grateful for the ocean which has blessed me so

Grateful for a body who can let me flow

Grateful for the yellow skies and the mist

The kindness and holis-

-tic doctors who listened

When I told them my body was not gentle to me

So I, well I, choose the warm air and the gentle skies

I choose to realize
That gratitude is the key to a calm mental state

Take it off your plate,

And throw it in the water.

Watch it sink.

Watch it sink,

The negativity a great weight

Maybe it’s fate

That I am here today?
